License & activation

One lifetime license per person — your key unlocks the full effect library, stored on your device, working offline.

What a license is

A PianoPrompt license is a short code that looks like PP-XXXXX, bound to your email address at purchase. It is a lifetime license: buy once, activate on any of your devices, re-download the library whenever you need to.

How activation works

Open the app and enter your license code — that's it, no email or account needed at activation.
The full effect library downloads once and is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB).
After that, the app works fully offline. Library updates show up as an optional "Update" in Settings → Packs.
Codes are case-insensitive — pp-xxxxx works just as well.

Restore & reset policy

Wiped your browser storage or got a new machine? Just activate again with the same code — re-downloads are unlimited.
The in-app Settings → License Key → reset link returns the app to its first-run state (your license stays valid).
Your composed prompts live only on your device — use Settings → Export data to back them up.
